I’m Adithi M., a junior in high school with a strong passion for computer science AI, and education. I’ve completed Computer Science coursework at UCLA and Artificial Intelligence at Stanford, and have developed several AI research projects. I actively participate in hackathons, am a coder on my school’s robotics team, a mentor with Innovate Engineer Makerspace and FNL at my local middle school, and work at a local code academy, where I help younger students learn STEM through hands-on projects.
About Me
During my sophomore year, I noticed how few girls were present in computer science spaces. I was the only female coder on my robotics team and the only girl representing my school at a regional hackathon competition. While I loved coding, I saw how easily younger girls could feel discouraged before ever having the chance to explore technology.
That realization led me to create SheBuilds, a bootcamp for girls where 5th-grade and middle school students learn Python and the fundamentals of AI in a supportive, hands-on environment. Teaching showed me the power of early exposure and mentorship, something that became real when one of my students later joined her middle school’s robotics program because of SheBuilds. This summer, I’m expanding the program with an advanced course to reach even more students and help them see themselves as creators in technology.
